It has been a while

This has been one of my very first blogs ever and I must say it has been since I touched it. I am thinking of adding more new stuff and probably give a bit more. I say this could be my secret project. Hopefully, I have the inspiration and follow through.

back with DMB

i have been searching for new listens lately but i could not find a suitable one. although i must admit i have been hooked with Thom Yorke's THE ERASER (uber nice for moi). Anyway, i decided to go back with the basics and bought me Dave Matthews Band Live at Red Rocks. i remember listening to the dave matthews band for so long and during that time i tend to associate some songs with the goings on in my life. like a mixtapoe of my life featuring the dave matthews band. hahaha.

oh yeah...lover lay down....oh please lover lay down.

the world of the lost left sock

i have been away of the country and living on my own for more than half of the year already and never...ever did i lose anything when doing the laundry. not until last week.... (sigh)

i was doing my usual midnight laundry and was kinda sleepy already when i noticed that one of my sock is missing its pair. to my disbelief, i had to bonk my senses to wake me up and look for the missing right (or left sock). frantically i searched my room - underneath the bed, in the closet, the cabinet and yes it was not there.

i'm the type of person that is obsessive compulsive when it comes to things missing like that. i have to make sure that i find it otherwise my world will be out of sync (lmao). unfortunately, i gave up after a thorough inspection of the room (i even traced my steps for clues).

it's knida funny how things turn out like that. you lose stuff without any knowledge then at some point you notice and say "hey something's not right..." i guess that's how life really is you lose. i am not saying that you don't win in life or whatever. what i am trying to impart is that sooner or later you're definitely gonna lose something and there are two ways to deal with it - go on a frantic search (and then end up sulking) or moving on and hope that things will be better. i chose the latter

(but i still keep thinking about my lost left sock. it's gnomes i tell yah...gnomes!)

mood: sleepy

it has been an uphill battle but finally the law has spoken.
i know that you are in a better place and the world has moved on without you
nonetheless we will always remember.
may you have the peace you truly deserve.

lamentations

i have been on this project for the whole of may stay here in singapore and as the months pass by i saw myself getting beat up and the sad thing about this is that even my peers have noticed how i have become moody and serious as of late.

honestly i do not know what to make of it. yes, i think i'm still in a rut that i cannot get out of. how i wish that everything would be signed off and that would be the time to decide whether to move on or wallow even more. i guess the former would be a better option.

on peter parker

...or something like it.

anyway, i went to an indian superstore to get some shopping done. being sunday, there were alot of people and each going about their own business. i got a bit fascinated with the place so i decided to have a look around and probably get me a stuff or two.

i got into a food lane and i was behind this lady when i saw money dropped out of her pocket. iwas about to react when this guy came a long and took. i said to myself "good, i won't have call her attention anymore..."

lo and behold, the one whom i thought a good samaritan did not even had the balls to motion to the lady but instead grabbed the swab then put it in his pocket as if it was his own. believe me it was not his. damn.

he looked around - i guess trying to see if anybody saw his little deed. he saw me and i was i awe and i thought there would be some sort of conscience flowing. but no - he won't on his way. i tried to follow the lady but due to the number of people around i lost her. i went back to the place where the man took the money. we met again face to face - he wont on his way.

i did not try to make a fuss out of it. can't say i was powerless 'cause i could have done something about it. but yet i didn't. i guess that's what bugging me now. simple as it may be i did not do anything. i know i could have changed something for the day. made the space and time continuum different but i did not

there are really some situations you think that you cannot do but opt not to. i guess because of fear...because of not making a fuss...because of not caring...because of not wanting to make a difference. and because of that life is not better like we want it to be thus it is sad...

to forget...i got my self a koolaid.
