back with DMB

i have been searching for new listens lately but i could not find a suitable one. although i must admit i have been hooked with Thom Yorke's THE ERASER (uber nice for moi). Anyway, i decided to go back with the basics and bought me Dave Matthews Band Live at Red Rocks. i remember listening to the dave matthews band for so long and during that time i tend to associate some songs with the goings on in my life. like a mixtapoe of my life featuring the dave matthews band. hahaha.

oh yeah...lover lay down....oh please lover lay down.

the world of the lost left sock

i have been away of the country and living on my own for more than half of the year already and never...ever did i lose anything when doing the laundry. not until last week.... (sigh)

i was doing my usual midnight laundry and was kinda sleepy already when i noticed that one of my sock is missing its pair. to my disbelief, i had to bonk my senses to wake me up and look for the missing right (or left sock). frantically i searched my room - underneath the bed, in the closet, the cabinet and yes it was not there.

i'm the type of person that is obsessive compulsive when it comes to things missing like that. i have to make sure that i find it otherwise my world will be out of sync (lmao). unfortunately, i gave up after a thorough inspection of the room (i even traced my steps for clues).

it's knida funny how things turn out like that. you lose stuff without any knowledge then at some point you notice and say "hey something's not right..." i guess that's how life really is you lose. i am not saying that you don't win in life or whatever. what i am trying to impart is that sooner or later you're definitely gonna lose something and there are two ways to deal with it - go on a frantic search (and then end up sulking) or moving on and hope that things will be better. i chose the latter

(but i still keep thinking about my lost left sock. it's gnomes i tell yah...gnomes!)
